According to a statement released by the Public Relations Office of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), USS Abraham Lincoln was struck by 4 ballistic missiles.
In an announcement regarding Operation “True Promise 4,” the IRGC claimed that the action was carried out following recent operations by the armed forces of Iran against targets associated with the US and Israel. The statement said that the US Navy warship was hit during this operation.
