Norway has charged former Prime Minister Thorbjørn Jagland with “gross corruption” tied to convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
The Norwegian government moved forward after the Council of Europe stripped Jagland of his diplomatic immunity, clearing the way for indictment.
The latest Epstein Transparency Act exposed emails showing Jagland planned solo and family trips to Epstein’s homes in Paris, New York, and Palm Beach. This was after Epstein had already been convicted in 2008 for soliciting a minor.
Europe is showing that no title, no office, no former glory puts you above the law. When powerful men are linked to a predator, they are investigated and charged.
