How to Make It

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a baking dish, dump the mixed berries and sprinkle with half the sugar.

In a bowl, whisk together the flour, the remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla to the dry ingredients, and stir until combined.

Pour the batter over the berries in the baking dish.

Bake for 30-35 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.

Serve

Let it cool slightly before serving. Spoon it out warm, with the berry juices pooling at the bottom. It’s perfect with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream on top!
