This creamy one-pan tomato pasta is a lifesaver for busy weeknights!
Ingredients
8 ounces of your favorite pasta.
1 can (14 ounces) of diced tomatoes.
1 cup of heavy cream.
1 cup of grated cheese (like mozzarella or parmesan).
2 cloves of garlic, minced.
1 tablespoon of olive oil.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Fresh basil for garnish (optional).
How to Make It
In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in the canned tomatoes and stir well.
Add the pasta and 2 cups of water, then bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for about 10-12 minutes until pasta is al dente.
Stir in the cream and cheese until melted and creamy.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve
Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil if you like, and enjoy right from the pan!
