Ever had one of those days where you just want to throw everything in a pan and call it dinner? That was me last week! I was exhausted from work and didn’t feel like putting much thought into what to make. So, I grabbed some chicken, broccoli, and cheese from the fridge, thinking I could whip something up. I almost burned the chicken because I got distracted scrolling through my phone. But, thankfully, it turned out great!
Ingredients
1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces.
2 cups broccoli florets.
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese.
1 cup cooked rice.
1 teaspoon garlic powder.
1 teaspoon onion powder.
Salt and pepper, to taste.
1 tablespoon olive oil.
How to Make It
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, mix together the chicken, broccoli, rice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and olive oil.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it out evenly.
Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly.
Serve
Serve it straight from the pan for a cozy, comforting dinner that the whole family will love!
