Lazy Skillet Chicken Alfredo

You ever have one of those days where everything just feels like too much? I had one of those last week, where the only thing I wanted to do when I got home was crash on the couch. Cooking? Ha! But then, the craving hit: creamy, cheesy pasta—my ultimate comfort food. I remembered this one-pot chicken Alfredo recipe I once tried. The first time, I totally burned the chicken because I got distracted by a rerun of my favorite show. But this time, I was determined to get it right. And guess what? One pan, minimal effort, and it was just as creamy and dreamy as I hoped.

Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced

8 ounces fettuccine

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

How to Make It

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add sliced chicken and cook until browned.

Remove chicken and set aside.

Add garlic to the same skillet, sauté until fragrant.

Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer.

Add fettuccine and cook until pasta is al dente.

Return chicken to the skillet.

Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.

Season with salt and pepper.

Serve

Serve hot, straight from the skillet, with a sprinkle of extra Parmesan on top.
