Last Tuesday, I was absolutely drained after a long day at work. The thought of cooking dinner felt like a Herculean task. All I wanted was something creamy, comforting, and easy to whip up without much fuss. That’s when I remembered a recipe for One-Pan Chicken Alfredo that a friend once shared with me. Perfect, right? Well, I thought so until I tried to make it once and forgot to add the cream. Let’s just say it was more of a ‘dry pasta experiment’ than a creamy delight. This time, I nailed it, and it was just the comforting meal I needed. It’s creamy, cheesy, and the best part—only one pan to clean up!
Ingredients
2 cups of pasta (penne or fettuccine)
1 pound of chicken breast, sliced
2 cups of heavy cream
1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tablespoon of olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
How to Make It
Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
Add the sliced chicken breast and cook until browned.
Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine.
Add the pasta to the pan, ensuring it’s submerged in the cream.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until pasta is cooked.
Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
Adjust seasoning if needed.
Serve
Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired. Enjoy straight from the pan!
