Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 200°C (gas mark 6-7).
Prepare the dough:
In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt.
Add the olive oil and warm water little by little, stirring with a wooden spoon or by hand.
Knead the dough for 2 to 3 minutes until smooth.
Shape the bread:
Form a ball or an elongated bun as desired.
Place it on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
Use a knife to make a few cuts at the top.
Quick baking:
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped underneath.
Let it cool down a bit: Wait a few minutes
before enjoying it with butter, jam or cheese!
💡 Tip: For an even crispier crust while baking, place a small container of water in the oven!
